According to the initial plan by Traffic and Transportation Bureau of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, this year the Transportation Construction Bureau of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region will be responsible for all 39 construction projects in highways, including new-being-built 10 projects and being-built 29 projects. By the end of this year,1,055km long highways will be completed and open to the traffic: which connect with the Xingxingxia-Turpan section of inland passageway- Lianhuo Expressway from east, Dahuangshan Mountain-Mulei section of three-north passageway, the south-north passageway--Kuitun- Karamay section of National Road 3014 and Xiaocao Lake-Heyi section.
