On March 18, the construction work on third main pier of Liezikou Super-bridge over Linhai Highway started, which means the construction work on main piers have finished half.

Liezikou Super-bridge is the key area of Lianyungang section of Linhai Highway. The bridge is 224.548m long and 26m wide, designed by the standard of Class 1, invested with 0.25 billion yuan. It started to be built in 2010 and the contracted construction period is 24 months. In 2012, the planed investment amount is 90 million yuan, work on bridge surface will be finished 65% and pre-installment on beam will be finished 80%.
