Currently, the first phrase of Line S1 of Wenzhou’s Railway has started, which was invested 80 billion yuan. Wenzhou’s railway network is consisted of four lines, S1, S2, S3 and S4. It has total length of 301.3km and 77 stops. It makes the frame come into being in which, it surrounds the First Ring of Daluoshan, 2 transverse lines and 2 longitudinal lines, reflecting east, west, south and north.  The first phrase of Line S1 lies in the center of Wenzhou cityi, starting from Tongling in the west, passing the coastal railway-South Station of Wenzhou Railway, surrounding out of Northeast, after passing along the passageway from Jinhua-Wenzhou Railway to Longwan district, turning to Southeast, then passing along Longtan district’s Nanyang Avenue, Qianfang Road and Airport, then crossing the airport stop and then turning to the North, and last crossing from Oujiang Nankou to Lingkun Island. It will continue to go along East, passing from Niyudao, extend to Dongtou Island of Dongtou County. The total length of first stage is 51.9km and it is expected to be invested in 15,23 billion yuan. There will be 14 stops, preserved 7 stops with average distance of 3.5km far among each stop. It is classified Class 1, which has double lines and is electric. The designed speed is 120km/h.
