According to Xi'an Urban Rapid Rail Transit Construction Plan(2012-2018), Lines No.4, No.5 and No.6  will start to be built during “the Twelfth Five” period. Plus Lines No.1, No.2 and No.3, the traffic congestion will be relieved. There will be 15 lines being built in the future with total 600km long.
